I worked for a Dell UP2516d for several years, everything about it suited me except for the screen size. For almost a month I was choosing what to take from a modern one with a larger diagonal, as a result, I settled on this model (ASUS ProArt PA27AC). There are no reviews, only one review on the network, I decided to take it, ASUS will not cram junk for such a price, as it turned out, it was wrong. A huge box, a big useless stand, a poor cable holder, the screen from which the eyes begin to hurt. Now in order. The stand is large, the vertical pipe against its background seems thin and does not look good on the table. The cable holder really holds them, when you try to change the position of the monitor, the cables are pulled and prevent you from doing this. When trying to change the height of the screen literally a centimeter upwards, the DisplayPort cable pulled out, at the same time, a plastic overlay on the back side covering the area with interface connectors constantly falls out. However, you can put up with this, do not use a regular holder or think of something else, the main problem is in the screen. No matter how I set up the monitor, my eyes were constantly in suspense. Played with scaling (Windows 10 x64, no scaling and 125%), font size, a bunch of preset modes, manual correction of all available settings, switching from 60Hz to 75Hz (supported on some video cards, in my case GeForce GTX 1060), did not help . Plus, the colors are certainly not the same as on the Dell UP2516d (it has GB-r-LED and extended color gamut) and this is also striking. I switch to Dell, my eyes immediately relax, I look at ASUS, they begin to tense up. After two days of struggle, I took it back to the store with the wording I didn’t like it, thank you accepted. As a result, I bought a Dell UP2716d, everything is fine with it, although the model is not new, but the picture is ideal and the eyes are happy. I do not dissuade anyone from purchasing, I urge you not to take the word of the marketers of the eminent manufacturer, to purchase with a check and the ability to return it back.
