I ordered two of these after seeing all the cute bento meals my friends had posted on Insta and loved the idea of not using so many ziplock bags in my kids meals. sustainability and such. I used it once and immediately realized the compartments were too small for my 6 year old's lunch! I could maybe fit half a sandwich in the large compartment and only if I cut it into chunks and then about 3 tangerine pieces in the other compartment. I had to quarter some biscuits so that they could be eaten on May 1st. all fit together, otherwise I'm not even sure what fits in the smallest. The picture shows nuts, but I'm not allowed to send nuts to school. I suppose you could put some ketchup in it, or maybe some hummus. But overall it didn't work. Also, my daughter's school requires all snacks to be store bought so I can fit a lot in without even opening the package. I think if it wasn't for so much plastic between the compartments it might be a regular size. I will be keeping one for my 2 year old's preschool snacks but I have returned the other and will find one with large compartments for a 6 year old. Overall I'd say it's well made, durable and easy to clean, although I read some reviews about mold issues so we'll see.
