I bought this TV mount to hang my Samsung 75" QLED TV on the wall. . Her email messages also inspired confidence. When it came time to Installing the mount was all blown away and I realized what a huge mistake it was to buy this piece instead of the larger branded model sold at your favorite local department store. : The mount is well made, the metal is thick and strong, the TV will hold normally, no need to assemble anything, the bolts are also strong 1) the included VESA screws are not enough, to mount current generation Samsung QLED TVs - short screws are too short and long screws are too long (or require very large spacers, which Samsung does not recommend). I was fortunate that my installer had a full set of screw lengths and could choose the "middle" length between Echogear's under-short and over-long sets. 2) The bracket only gives you about 5 inches. horizontal centering functions, so in my case I couldn't center the TV properly. With the 18" stands and the stands not properly centered on the corner wall, the large flat panel ended up 4" off-center to the left. Enough to be really annoying. Again, a similar product sold by a large national warehouse has the right support, to center the mount holder and would have worked much better. 3) Most annoying - tilt adjustments and screws - scrap. If you want the tv to hold the tilt you have to screw it metal to metal, no washer no lock screw but the screw won't hold apart from being very difficult to tighten. It feels like I'm about to flex the little torque rod they provide to tighten the tilt screw, and I still can't get the "never move again" locking setting right. 4) Repeat the same irritation with the screw. - on metal, without locking mechanism used for very limited horizontal alignment. In the long run, however, this does not cause trouble, because the TV is inherently balanced, as opposed to adjusting the forward tilt. 5) Finally the wiring. It's missing and it sucks. There is very little space, so any cord you wrap around your arms will interfere with the full closure of the mount or any other movement. In summary, there are too many reasons to regret my purchase that I can't get over. As I mentioned, the bracket is at least solid and holds the TV in place, but the lack of or the right screws for current Samsung TV models, the awkward adjustment of the tilt mechanism, the inability to properly adjust the TV on imperfect bolts to center are very annoying design flaws.
