When the heat for our day of skiing didn't expect teenagers to get crazy cold wind forecasts, I ordered these for my 8 and 5 year olds. They worked pretty well. My 5 year old daughter is very picky about her clothes, fit, comfort, looks and warmth and after skiing from 9-3 she was dying to go back to 4 because she was never cold! I've worn them under sweatpants, a turtleneck, a coat, winter trousers, a balaclava, a helmet and gloves; but it didn't feel too bulky and moved without any cold at all, except at the tips of the fingers. On days when she doesn't need to wrap up, she likes to wear them instead of pajamas. So happy with them!
