I needed something to hold the flashlight so it could get off the ground and roll around. The description said it would not only work with the d-cell but also with the c-cell. I wanted to place c-cell in a roll panel over my head. This works, but I'm concerned that the light might go out due to insufficient tuning for the C cell. If so, I move it to the sidebar. It looks like it works fine in the sidebar with no light coming out unless I flip the car. haha
