I was very disappointed with this camera. I want to stress that I'm a huge Nikon fan; my DSLR and all Nikon accessories. So when my Casio Exilm broke (after running great for 4 years and then being dropped) I thought Coolpix would be an upgrade. The Coolpix worked great during our vacation, but the photos were mostly taken outdoors in daylight. But I found that when shot indoors, they came out either sharp but with a heavy yellow cast, or normal colors but blurry focus. I know that in many situations the problem could easily be solved with a flash, but the camera wouldn't let it turn on. This was the case when I switched between Scene and Auto modes. In addition, the location of the buttons on the back is very unfortunate. It's too easy to accidentally press the buttons (causing a scene mode change or switching to video mode when it's not needed). I did this almost every time I tried to take a portrait photo. In short, I don't like the touchscreen. What I don't like is the lack of manual controls. Let's get back to Casio Exilm.
