I like the form factor although it can be a bit small in the hand. The finish is definitely smooth, making it hard to hold onto. If it was normal smooth surface would be smooth it would be easier to grip but the way the surface is anodized is very difficult to grip and still offers beautiful colors. I had to apply some pressure sensitive adhesive to "grip" but even the normally strong stick (plumber) I use to coat towel hooks etc to keep them from slipping doesn't last long on this incredibly smooth surface. As an additional note, I notice that if my hands are sweaty or sticky, the anodized finish is almost no problem for me, which I have with dry hands, which is a lot in winter, or I could imagine in the air conditioning that I don't have on many Places has been since I've had this stylus." My iPad seems to be doing just fine with it. My hands are between large and xl so wish they were a bit bigger, small/medium hands are probably about right. I'm starting to like this form factor and I've found that holding the stylus ends up giving a faster "reaction" thanks to faster keyboard and screen movement on my iPad. Will I order them again? Upgrade this, maybe like this.
