Review on 🔌 NetDot Magnetic Charging Cable, Gen10 Nylon Braided Magnetic Phone Charger for USB-C and Micro USB Devices and Phones (1ft/3 Pack, Red) by Jeffrey Nunes

[UPDATE] After receiving 3ft of cables and plugs, the Micro USB connectors worked (from new packaging). Upon closer inspection, it turned out that the 5V and ground pins were notches on the original connectors. I took a small screwdriver and GENTLY lifted the pins a little and they worked. I add 2 stars. The cables now work great. ------- Purchased 3x1ft cable, 3x3ft cable already shipped. I bought them because they offer USB-C and microUSB. USB-C ports are ideal for data transfer and charging. Unfortunately, the microUSB ports cannot be connected at all. I've tried all 3 cables and all 3 microUSB ports on multiple devices (Fire tablets, headphones, Raspberry Pi) and no combination even registered power. The good thing is that they are definitely durable. My LG G7 accepts the jack even with the bulky case (big plus), I can hang my phone on the jack so the neodymium magnets are definitely strong enough. A word of advice, these are neodymium magnets. If they connect too quickly, there is a chance they will be hacked. By simply placing the plug next to the port, it "aligns" itself and ensures a good connection. I've seen other reviews and photos of this and this is a common problem with ANY magnetic USB cable. (5 stars for the first company to solve this problem). If you need microUSB, you can look elsewhere. For USB-C, they're great. Unfortunately I needed microUSB and USB-C was just a bonus. I will be returning all sets and looking for something that works. Overall [-4] - Product advertises microUSB and USB-C but only works 1 Durability/Robustness [-1] - Like many magnetic connectors, the connector can easily become detached and unintentionally disconnected. However, it locks again. Better guidance at both ends will help with this. Ease of use [-0] - Connect both ends and it will work. if it works.
