Review on Esinkin Wireless Bluetooth Receiver with NFC Technology, HD Audio Adapter 4.0 for Home Stereo Music Streaming System with 3.5mm AUX and RCA by Brian Campbell

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Easy to use - remember this is a bluetooth receiver ONLY.

1.) This is only a bluetooth receiver, not a transmitter. It RECEIVES audio over Bluetooth radio from remote devices such as laptops, smartphones, desktops or any device that transmits audio over a Bluetooth carrier signal - only one device at a time. It WILL NOT SEND/TRANSMIT a signal over the air to another device. I'm not trying to point this out or be sarcastic, but some of the questions I've seen seem to indicate confusion as to whether he's sending and receiving or just receiving. 2.) It feeds the sound it receives into an amplifier. as a LINE LEVEL signal via a stereo signal cable (supplied) - cinch to 3.5 mm or vice versa. Depending on the input jacks of your amplifier, you can use the cable in any way you like. Both RCA and Aux. Connections to Esinkine are line level OUTPUTS; Just use the ones you need. If necessary, you can use your own cables or adapters to make a proper connection to the amplifier. 3.) Will it drive speakers? ONLY IF they are active speakers, ie each speaker has its own built-in amplifier. It will not drive unamplified speakers directly without amplification. Headphones? Probably; I didn't try. This depends on the headphones and as there is no volume control on the receiver you will need to adjust the volume on the source: phone, laptop etc. Be careful not to damage the headphones or your hearing with the initial super loud bang. You know how the blast makes it almost impossible to find the volume control or take phones off your head without hurting yourself. 4.) Power supply. That. It will NOT work from a USB power source or a connection to a computer. The input is connected to the cable supplied with the power supply. If that doesn't help, you can probably find a replacement. 5.) Performance: I am satisfied with the sound quality. I'm using it as the input to an Onkyo TX-8050 160W RMS (80 x 2) stereo receiver connected to two pretty decent Pioneer speakers from the early 1990's and it sounds about as good as one strong FM reception or playing CDs. I don't use the NFC function, so I can't comment on that. The range is 25 feet, which isn't a problem for our living/dining room layout. It seems to sync quickly with my Bluetooth devices. I would recommend based on our experience.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cable shorter than others

Love the way it hooked up to my old school stereo system. I will be putting it to use more often .
