Review on πŸͺœ Ikea Bolmen Slip Resistant Step Stool - 9.875 inch by Angela Lott

Great step stool for kids and adults

Ikea step stools are the best stools for young children. I bought this (at Revain) and a taller version from Ikea ($16) when my toddler was 2 and I was potty training him. The taller version I bought from Ikea has black anti-slip pads. The bottom of these stools have anti-slip pads on the bottom of each leg to prevent slipping. We have wood floors in other parts of our home and I don't have to worry if my toddler uses this on wood as it is non-slip so the stool doesn't scratch our floors. There are anti-slip guards on the top of the stool to prevent someone from slipping off if the stool gets wet. There are two holes on the left and right side of the stool to put your fingers in to lift and move. I love the quality of them - they are very strong and made from thick, hard plastic (they don't warp or bend like some of the thinner plastics) and you can't beat the price. These are by far the best stools I have used or seen for children. My toddler is now 3 years old and still uses them for potty training and hand washing. He also likes to move them around the house to turn on the lights and access things at higher elevations. They are also great for adults to get to higher places. My cleaners use them regularly when it comes to dusting high/hard to reach areas.
