There are few things I've bought from Revain that have impacted the quality of my life as much as these boots. Not wanting to go to the gym, my wife and I continued to get outside this winter. Sidewalks vary depending on how the owner has been digging with the shovel, and it can be difficult to stay two meters away from others walking their dogs or playing sports. So let's walk the streets. In our city, the minimum amount of ice is used on residential streets that are covered with snow for most of the winter. These boots are great for that. Since receiving them in December we have put over 75 miles on them and are very confident on our feet. In the last 2.5 months my foot has slipped a bit, maybe a couple of times, but never to the point that I thought I was going to fall. When we get to the roads, which are better plowed, we aim for the snow on the sides - we feel so safe. We bought a pair for our son who walks. He complained that they hurt his toe with the sneakers, but that didn't bother him once he started wearing tighter socks. He feels just as safe running with them as we feel walking. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to walk/run on snowy roads or sidewalks.
