I really like these Govee headlights. Bought for installation in my motorhome. They have real 3M tape, much like the car manufacturers badges. My kit will see all the items and it looks like they are holding up. They have a rubber overmold on the lightstrip instead of just a bit of plastic over it like the cheap outdoor kits. You have plenty of cable to mount the control unit in front of the elements. It has a separate remote control to control it, or you can use the Govee app via Bluetooth (no Wi-Fi). This is important because we don't sleep near Wi-Fi, but my phone has Bluetooth. I will buy a Wi-Fi kit if I install it in the house. I bought a cheap outdoor kit to save money. There was 3M tape on the adhesive base but it wasn't very good. It looked more suitable for indoor use. Also, there was only 1 foot of wire between the headlights and the control box and it was impossible to lengthen it. I use this set elsewhere. Let's talk about the Govee app. It's really fun to use. The light has so many preset lighting patterns, sound settings and many user configurable settings.
