The UGREEN Surface Dock keeps what it promises - 2x USB 3, HDMI and SD card support. It does so while retaining the look and feel of the Surface's anodized aluminum, which makes it feel a lot more premium than comparable rivals. However, if you're using the Surface Dock as your primary charger and just want to add HDMI and a card reader, look elsewhere. The UGREEN Dock extends far enough toward the bottom of Surface that it doesn't fit when you have a charger plugged in. The Surface Dock is my main charger, so I couldn't test the stock charger, but if you need to charge with the dock and output to HDMI at the same time, this option won't work for you.
