Don’t throw away the instructions
I really loved this hat. "Loved” is past tense because after using it and NOT reading the Care Instructions, I put it in my washing machine with the rest of my beanies and clothes and it became completely unraveled and destroyed. I’m sad but it was clearly my fault. I later found the care instructions where it explains putting it inside a laundry bag or hand wash only.
