Perfect design for my needs - Highly recommended

Considering how much I spent on my iPad I would happily spend a lot more on a case but this fits my needs perfectly. I had an old iPad that was pretty heavy. As soon as I opened my Air, I was amazed at how light it was in comparison. Other cases I've tried almost doubled the weight and hit the air target. So the first advantage of this case is that it is the lightest there is. I compared before ordering. Another reason I love this case is the way it folds. I've never read anyone mention this, but most of the time I hold my Air in portrait mode in my left hand and type with my right. If you fold the lid into a triangle shape, you get a kind of handle on the left side that I find very good to hold on to. Suitcases designed for many positions don't fold that way. I've also found that this Air has much better volume and sound than my old one. I think it's good that in this case the speaker hole remains completely open. There is no plastic grille above it, which could cause hum or rattle at certain frequencies. I have to say I'm the only one handling my Air and there aren't any small children to worry about. Does it offer more protection when dropped? Probably not, but I always know that my devices usually cost the same as my flat screen TV and I've never dropped one of my tablets or phones. So if your Air is working with you or in a harsh environment where you're more likely to get hit, you might want to look for a case with some buffering. However, if you look at the prices of some of these cases, you should instead consider getting a warranty from one of these suppliers, who will contact you after you buy your Air from the store. Got this deal today and found that with the discount the 2 year warranty would cost around $90. Combine that with the $60 case study and do a risk-reward analysis. I think if this cover wears away or gets scratched and becomes an eyesore I'll have to dig around and find $9, the cost of two slices of pizza and a coke.
