Okay folks. There are two types of parchment. Translucent parchment that isn't and parchment finish that is. It simply means the paper is jagged. For example, paper like a watercolor pad is most likely parchment or felt and very thick. Carbon paper usually has a smooth surface. This is about the thickness of inkjet paper (which is likely to have a smooth or ultra-smooth surface). With this paper, you won't have tons of halos or bleeds, even with a fountain pen. It works great for automatic two-sided printing on my old inkjet printer (probably 5 years old). Punching a hole is easy. I use it for planner inserts and frankly the parchment finish annoys me. But. For what it is, it's very nice.
