I got this set because of the translucent colors. I wasn't sure if I would like them compared to regular opaque colors but they are great. I have used 3 colors so far. I like shiny and pink. I put nail stamps on it. It looked good. My child chose colors and stamps for me. This is only the second time I have applied gel polish and it lasted just as long as the first time. The bottom line is the preparation for applying varnish. I change them every week just because my nails are growing very fast and I don't like having a bare nail next to the cuticle. The polish didn't move on my nails so they last much longer. My main reason I buy these polishes is to have a good polish for as long as I want with no stains or chips and they have been amazing so far. My teenage daughter wore some of these polishes for about 2 weeks before agreeing to change them. She didn't want to ruin the look, although I told her we could just add new colors. She felt they looked too perfect to remove, but her unpolished nails near the cuticle were too visible for my liking.
