I bought one like this because my wheeled fridge had a pretty good temperature differential between the top and bottom shelves. I had two wireless digital thermometers to test this. Before the fan was added, the temperature difference was between 8 and 10 degrees Fahrenheit. It was colder upstairs than downstairs. After adding a fan, the temperature difference is between 0 and 4 degrees. Also, the battery life is longer than stated in the documentation. I am at 6 weeks with new batteries. They will probably change next week.
