After reading the reviews I was a little apprehensive about buying this. It took several buckets to make ice for our razor and they looked perfect. But other reviews have been full of horror stories about some of the buckets sticking together. Got mine and all the buckets came out fine except for two. So here's the thing: if you've ever had 5-gallon buckets stacked inside each other like HD's, it's a SUCTION that makes these damn things difficult to separate. For example, imagine a large syringe to pump liquids into a car or something similar. If you put your finger on the end, you cannot pull the plunger out of the syringe. You can't "expand" air! That is the same. It's NOT like the buckets mysteriously merged/merged/or anything. There is air between the two bottoms and the seal is tight on the outside so you can't pull them apart in Hawaii. Don't use a vice, channel locks, etc., and don't try to force them apart - it's not the wisest way to do it. Search your wife's drawers and find a frosting dispenser like the one in my picture. Slide it in between the buckets as far as you can and start working around the entire perimeter of the buckets where they meet. Don't try to pry or wedge them, just walk around the buckets. Once you lower the spreading blade to the ground and can easily walk the whole circle, you've broken the airtight seal and the blade will slide between the buckets with increasing ease. After about 5-10 turns around the horn (with the blade all the way down) they separate. Light Cheese! Hope this helps anyone getting sticky :)
