Arrived damaged and smelled like chemicals

Poor quality. Arrived with a hole in a knitted cylinder covered with brown and red fluff and fluff with a strong chemical smell. Unfortunately I don't have time to return and replace the item so I had to hand sew the hole to keep it from unraveling. And even after washing and drying, it still smells of chemicals. I don't feel comfortable putting a hat and scarf on my young child.
