The light doesn't stay on.
The light is bright but doesn't always stay on. It has nothing to do with turning the car off or on. I can drive down the street as long as I want and then I realize the lights are out. Very dangerous for my work. You can also turn the light on and off from inside, but it's done with a button and you just have to guess if it's on or not. You have to hold down the button and the light will flash differently or just stay on. Sitting in the car, it's impossible to tell what the light on the car's roof is doing.
