We bought this as a gift for our friends kids and they love it. They are 6 and 8 years old. They both quickly learned how to use the camera's functions and have been shooting non-stop ever since. It's very interesting to see what they find interesting enough to photograph. Her parents even started printing out some of the photos and allowed each of the children to keep their own "album" of the photos they took. It should be noted that the camera is not waterproof, but it is very durable. It has been dropped several times inside and out but it still works. Guess we have to order another one so now they have their own camera. Excellent purchase!
