Smaller than expected. Luckily I was able to pass it on to a younger five year old boy. This is not for a real BIG boy. This corresponds to the waist measurement of a five-year-old child. I have skinny boys ranging from high schoolers to toddlers, only preschoolers fit in them. I wish the sizing was a little clearer. Otherwise a QUALITY PRODUCT with a cute matching butterfly. The little boy didn't want to go through the formalities, but now he also has a choice. Just need to order a vest in time so I did it. Many Thanks.
