The good, the bad and the beautiful.

Some thoughts: 1. It was very expensive and looks like it is very expensive. 2. The color has a hint of plum. It's pretty but difficult to combine with other shades of pink in other fabrics in the room. It doesn't go well with Ballerina Pink, Pink, Hot Pink or Coral Pink - it's quite unique. I have searched the ENTIRE INTERNET including the manufacturer's website and have not found a bed bumper that claims to fit this set. 3. The quality is pretty good. The fabric will take some time to relax due to the tight packaging and creases formed - it's been a few days and it still hasn't relaxed so I may need to steam it. My set was missing a rosette (quite an important decorative element) on one of the pillowcases, which disappointed me. 4. With this duvet, you can't put anything on the bed over and over again (forget folding clothes on the bed, for example - zippers on jeans or hooks on a bra will snag everything like crazy). The openwork mesh pad will snag, including snagging on the bed frame and head/foot if they are not smooth. I wouldn't understand if your bed was raw wood or brushed metal, for example. 5. It is very difficult to sleep under. The underside of the duvet is made from a very soft cotton/polyester blend in offwhite/cream. It's so heavy that it easily slips off the bed. 6. It's too ruffled and gorgeous if you like this look. Stunningly decorated and luxurious looking.
