A little context - I installed a Dreamline Prisim shower enclosure with a standard pivoting shower head. Unfortunately, the standard showerhead splashed water directly into the hinge area on the body, which didn't seal very well. Because of this, a lot of water flowed out of the shower - not good. Instead of replacing the shower head, I replaced that shower head with this rain shower head. Due to the orientation of this shower head, the water is not directed at an angle, but straight down. Relatively simple solution to my original problem. However, this showerhead is also a definite upgrade! The distribution of the water is amazing - it's like a 12" x 12" "curtain" of water falling straight down. The head can be tilted a bit to either side, but I don't see the need for it. The chrome finish is nice and the head and arm feel sturdy. The shower nozzles are rubber (or maybe silicone) - not sure how they hold up in hard water, but they seem easy to clean. I also like the square style. Installation is very easy (if you've ever changed your shower head, it takes about 10 minutes). They were even kind enough to include teflon tape in the kit! The kit also includes an additional filter. The supplied flange seems a little cheap, but you can always reuse an old flange if you want. Make sure you have enough space to install it in your shower. If you have a tub and shower combo, you have plenty of space, but it can be difficult to fit in a small shower stall. In my case, the 15" arm sticks out about 13" because the rebar in the wall is set back about 2" so it's slightly off-center (not really noticeable, but a 12" arm would be better). 36 dollars. I was expecting something cheap but overall the quality is very good. Considering that similar products can cost close to $100, I feel like I got a lot!
