I would give more stars if 1) it's easier to program and 2) the rate control is more accurate and flexible. Programming times and feedings is quite difficult at first. After a few mistakes you will understand how it works. The feeding amount is given in SECONDS. During this time, the plastic worm rotates and pushes out the pallets. The number of the first level rotates for 35 seconds. The second stage doubles this value (70 seconds), there is nothing in between. So if it works for you, you'll get a good feeder. If not, then there is no way to change it. There are two plastic screws, one with more spacing between the cores and squeezes out more pallets than the smaller one. I can't imagine using a big one and spinning it in minutes. judging by the silo about it, it only holds 5.5 pounds of feed.
