Avoid. The cable of the microphone arm sucks. Read below.

Tl;dr:1) The microphone cable will die within the lifespan of the headphones. The weak point lies in the built-in sound/volume switch, which is already poorly made. 2) Headphones are uncomfortable without buying new thicker ear pads. Hard plastic presses against your ears to the point of pain. 3) The mute switch cannot be used without streaming the content of what you are listening to to your Discord/TS/VOIP friends. I suspect it's an escape issue, but I'm no expert. 4) The sound quality is average. You can get a lot better for that price and maybe hook up a ModMic or something to it. 5) Not the best value for money. See above/below. Longer version below: I'm usually a big fan of Audio Technica headphones, but in this case they need to clean up. Several reviews on many websites mention that the standard mic cable dies at some point in the life of the headphones. Listen to these reviews. I bought this headset hoping to try AT as I usually trust this brand. Just as my warranty was about to expire, my cable started crackling and the audio flickered on and off. point of failure? Built-in volume/mute switch, which many customers have complained about. When I called the parts department and very politely asked for a replacement, they declined. I understand the warranty has expired, but AT makes a junk product they know has a major flaw in the cable, charges extra for it, and then lets the customers foot the bill. It's not a $200 headset, but until they get me to buy a replacement cable that shouldn't have broken, it will. Cables to every load, so it's 100% up to you, Audio Technica. I will support your products if you keep making good products. You didn't do it here. As for the rest of the headset, the sound is average, but improves significantly with the use of thicker ear pads, which you'll need, by the way, since standard ear pads press hard plastic against your headphones. ears. An uncomfortable headset, but maybe so if you invest more money in the product. Ultimately, it's not a bad headset, but the quality doesn't match the price, especially since you'll be buying replacement pads (less than a year after buying the kit) and multiple replacement mic cables for the life of the product. Avoid if you value your money.
