This is my second purchase of these stools since expanding the island. I wanted a low back for the look but it's not as comfortable as high back stools. I feel very comfortable on these chairs because the part of the chair is wide. However, my two young children tend to slide down due to the width of the seat. But they're strong and tough to beat, and in the long run that and looks trumped everything else. The kids only sit on it for breakfast so it's doable. I love the built in rubber floors that protect the wooden floors but prevent them from slipping.
