As an adult who loves cat-ear headphones, I tried two pairs from another brand - and both broke at the hinges after a few months, so when I saw all the silicone models - without those hinges - I wanted to try. While many responses from Amazon said they "should" fit me, I wasn't sure until they arrived and they actually did fit. I have an extra click to the left on one side so they can go a hair bigger if needed, but I have a small head. My husband couldn't wear them (not that he wanted to). The sound is good - I was a bit worried about the limiter but it goes up much louder than I normally hear, and I have yet to find the maximum volume. As for noise-cancellation, you're dubious because the earcups are, of course, small (although my ears are small enough that they *just* cover them). I assume they will work perfectly on children (which they were created for). It's just kind of a scenario to me, but the music that's playing pretty much covers up what I'm trying to ignore. They are quite comfortable and with the different profile they don't press on my head as much as the other sets - they feel lighter - nor do they pinch my glasses behind my ears like the others. The silicone is thick and feels high-quality - the cable also feels pleasantly thick. They are flexible, although they don't bend easily, as they appear in the pictures (which is fine in my book) and so far I'm pretty happy with them. Edit: It's been over a year and still works great. I've even taken them with me on trips and put them in my laptop bag. Don't break, tear, crack, sound is still good. Edit: Four years later, they finally got a short circuit. The headphones themselves were in perfect condition with no cracks, breaks etc. I have ordered a second pair and expect them to last another 4 years or more. Highly recommended. Sound is still good.
