Towel costs about $0.50, you can't beat the product. In fact, it's not the thickest terry towel with more threads than a quality washcloth or hand towel. However, they are ideal for use in kitchens and utility rooms. I noticed very few "seconds" (those with stray stitches or warped ones) - neat, square corners and sewn well. They're super absorbent (as 100% cotton should be!), soft and great for lots of odd jobs around the house. Optional dinner napkin* for guests (*according to product image) but you can certainly use it as such and you'll be fine - I do! I will update my post on status. It will indeed happen over time and I agree with that. I think they will do the job.
