GRRRRRRR! POLYESTER! The product listing (at the time of purchase and review) says "100% Organic Cotton Velor". But only HALF of the cotton napkin. The white side is made of POLYESTER, which is not listed in the product description or on the packaging. [By the way, this is a violation of the Textile Identification Act, making this item illegal to sell in the US!] Since polyamide is unlabeled, you may be wondering how I know. First, it's visible in appearance (fluffy/curly halo with slight sheen), in feel (rough on the outside but slippery on the inside, causing the two halves of the napkin to slide over each other INSTEAD of sliding across the top of the skin), and I spent the Burning test: held the flame to the cloth. Natural fabrics such as cotton, bamboo or wool burn. Plastics such as nylon, polyester and acrylic melt. The white half of this product melted like chocolate ice cream on a hot summer day. If they were as advertised (COTTON ONLY) I would give them 4 stars. But due to misleading (illegal) advertising and the fact that the washcloth wants to wash itself and not the skin it's rubbing against, they're no better than any other baby washcloth. boo
