NATURAL DERMA PROJECT Green Caper Toner Essence is more of a moisturizer or serum than a toner in my opinion. It's watery, like a toner, but it packs a lot of moisturizing elements that make my skin look like it's already covered in a heavier moisturizer before I add my regular serum. It doesn't tone anything for me. It's kind of a trap-22 for me because while I think it can save me the need for a serum and moisturizer, it doesn't sink into my skin like a regular toner and serum. In fact, it sits quite firmly on the surface of my skin and doesn't seem to absorb well, leaving a sticky feeling even when I barely apply it to my skin. I have an oily skin type (not super oily, but I don't usually have dry skin on my face in general) and this product alone seems to be too much for me. For me it's not a "pore cleanser" at all and just not for my skin type I guess. I couldn't imagine adding anything else. YMMV.
