5000mA is a serious battery for a small fan! Not to mention that you can also use it while it's online if you want. I guess the battery is so big because it has 3 fan speeds, 3 brightness levels with light, AND it fluctuates! Yes, it varies. This means that it will automatically keep rotating left and right slowly, completing approximately 180 degrees of rotation. And on top of that there is a small hook at the bottom that you can pull out and a way for someone to mount it on the wall if they want. And if the hook is too small for what you want to attach it to, it still offers the option of hanging it with string or a large bread ribbon. If you want it to just sit flush with the surface without the three flexible rods, there are even four little rubber feet on the bottom of the fan itself to keep it from sliding around all over the place. And for anyone wondering, the micro USB cable is about 40 inches long, or about 3 feet 4 inches. This is also the reason why I gave this fan four stars instead of five. I can already tell that part of it will break first and render this fan unusable. I'm sorry, but these days cloth razors use USB-C and I think we're all fed up with micro USB cables and the ports they plug into. This one is extra sturdy and I would use it as a permanent fan if you could so you don't have to plug and unplug the micro USB cable as often. And to the manufacturers: if you make the same fan with a USB-C connector and use a USB-C cable, I'm willing to buy more than one!
