the handbag is very cute! The colors are very bright and saturated. This is a flat bag (the bottom part is not sewn between the sides). On the front there is an outside pocket with magnetic closure. There is no inside pocket. Interior lining in white plastic finish on canvas. This is a good size for tossing just a few items. I prefer small and light bags as I have bilateral shoulder problems and have had surgery on my neck. The fabric is thick but flexible. The colors appear to be permanent and should not fade or chip off the canvas. It has a strong plastic zipper for the top closure. The buckles on the adjustable fabric strap are strong and feel very sturdy. Overall the construction appears to be of good quality and with proper care the handbag will last indefinitely. While it's likely to be machine washable, I would recommend spot cleaning only to ensure durability and prevent color fading. I am very happy with the bag. I ordered 2 slightly larger bags (one with cats and one with parrots) because I really liked this bag.
