My 6 year old daughter has long, thick curly hair that falls to below her waist. She loves her long hair, but she does not love taking care of it. A good conditioner makes our lives so much eaiser! In addition to just keeping her hair healthier and easier to brush and work with, when her hair is really tangly (which happens all the time with an active 6 year old) I put her in the shower, slather her hair in conditioner, and brush it out there instead of fighting through it dry. It is SO much eaiser!This conditioner is natural-ish (nothing terrible in it), and doesn't have any artificial fragrances. It does have a scent, but it's all essential oils, not perfumes, so it doens't bother me - I am very sensitive to artificial fragrances. It works well for both everyday use, and the heavy duty whole-head detangling treatment I described.Another trick I've learned is that if you mix a tablespoon of conditioner into a spraybottle full of water, you have a leave-in conditioner/detangler that is great for everyday use without having to buy a seperate product. If you add just a couple drops of additional essential oils to the mix (mix any/all of the following: tea tree, peppermint, thyme and cinnamon) to the bottle, you have a homemade lice preventative spray that nourishes hair while preventing stowaways of the very worst kind.I received this item at a discount in exchange for an honest and complete review.
