Review on Electric stabilizer for DJI OM 5 athens gray smartphone by Vanchay Sangkeaw Ice ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Expectations were not met, average quality.

I only needed tracking (auto-following), since I mainly shoot my dances. I move around the hall and on a regular tripod I have to plan my movements so as not to jump out of the shooting field. I was hoping to solve this problem with this stabilizer and tracking function. The conclusion is this: it did not solve my problem, so far this device is not suitable for self-shooting dances, the algorithm is too raw. But I hope everything is ahead! And the guys will improve. a start ) This is probably a good stabilizer for general photography by a cameraman or for blogging travel reports, etc.

Pros
  • Object tracking (autofollowing) Active Track
Cons
  • 1) Tracking (auto-following) all the time centers the face in the frame both horizontally and vertically, which is completely unsuitable for filming a dance, since the legs are cut off during the landscape, and in the portrait mode, the half-screen is occupied by ceiling lamps, but it can be said that it shoots satisfactorily vertically - for tiktok or stories will come down. But it is impossible to shoot your moves in the landscape mode, unless you move far and turn into a dot. Therefore, this thing caused me more disappointment and headaches, since I tried to deal with it somehow: to fix a certain shooting angle, but then the tracking loses my face, apparently looking for it in the center. I would say that the tracking is rather damp for now. 2) The further or longer I use the stabilizer, the faster it starts to heat up my phone, all applications start terribly, the video preview also slows down and the resulting recording is also recorded with brakes. Instead of positive from idleness, it turns out anger from helplessness and disappointment.
