Review on BISSELL Turboclean Powerbrush Pet Upright Carpet Cleaner: Efficient Solution with Carpet Shampooer, 2085 by Dube Jansen

I haven't washed the carpet in the bedroom for a long time and this has been noticed! I wasn't sure there was a carpet cleaner powerful enough to fix my 25 year old stained beige carpet that was used by people and pets alike. I should probably buy new carpets, but I'm taking a "once the kids are gone" attitude. So I'm trying to add a few more years to the life of the carpet. Meet the new pet Bissell Turboclean Powerbrush. I have had cats for many years and now we have 4 furry friends in our family. These are indoor cats, so our dirt levels can be lower than indoor and outdoor pets. However, after using the Bissell I was amazed at how much fur was collected despite regular vacuuming. I had a Bissell a few years ago and it was a huge, lumbering mammoth, but it did the job well and lasted a few years. I then rented Rug Doctor machines for about $25 each, but almost gave them up after our local store stopped selling them. I was delighted to find this easy to assemble and use gem. Despite the unassuming looks, this is a full size vertical carpet cleaner and it works better than any other machine I've used before. In fact, it cleaned our old carpet so well I'm almost embarrassed to see how dirty it's gotten without regular shampooing. This machine is really fun to use as it deftly sucks up dirt right in front of my eyes. It did a near-perfect job, but like shampoos in the past, it didn't completely remove stubborn stains like red nail polish or my teenage daughter's blue blobs of hair dye. I very much doubt there is a cure for this level of carpet abuse. When filling, it is important to move the machine slowly to prevent dirty water from splashing out of the front outlet. The Turboclean Powerbrush Pet spits out tufts of cat hair from time to time, but these can easily be picked up by hand. After completion, the lightweight collection container can be easily removed and emptied. However, it takes some time for the tank to be completely emptied of dirt. Detailed instructions clearly illustrate and explain how to use and clean the machine. Bissell Turboclean did a great job of bringing my carpet back to a decent level. This powerful little powerhouse does a great job of deep cleaning my worn old carpet, and the included DEEP CLEAN + OXY detergent sample fills the room with a fresh, pleasant scent. court
