The second hand on this watch is not a second hand that constantly moves across the dial. It's what would you call it, a stuttering seconds hand visibly ticking on its own. . . second . . . in . . . Time. The second hand is also visually almost identical to the minute hand at first glance, so when looking at the watch you'll need to look at it for a second or two to make sure you're seeing the correct placement of the hands. . Like a stone in the shoe, it's not bad, but gets annoying after a while. The gold accents were also very reflective and I found the dial difficult to read at times, even with the exception of the second hand issue. And the battery that came with this watch died within two months of its arrival. Since watch batteries typically last 2 years or more, they must have been stored for a very long time.
