I have a Standard Model 3 Tesla. Plugged it into the right front USB port using a splitter. Very easy to install. Place the phone on the stand and the indicator will start flashing. Since the instructions were only 1 page I didn't know if that meant it worked or not. Long story short I had to search the internet to determine that this meant the device was NOT working and searching further turned up various chat threads with other people having the same issue. Various workarounds have been suggested in these threads, but that's not the point as I didn't have to purchase any additional parts to put together a new finished item that clearly states it's working and compatible with my car. wm. To make matters worse, and I have no way of definitively confirming causality, a Sentry mode flash drive that was installed in the left port and was working fine became accidentally corrupted and stopped working at the same time. There are many good reviews for this product and I base my purchases on these cumulative reviews but in this case I would say buyers beware.
