These nitrile examination gloves are not only intended for medical situations, although of course they can also be used. I use mine to uproot small poison ivy plants before immediately getting rid of the plants and gloves. I also use these gloves to protect my hands from germs or other nasty substances. These are true disposable gloves so don't expect to reuse them as they will tear. They're a little thinner than the gloves I've used before; however, they hold up quite well. I usually wear women's gloves in small and medium sizes, and here the medium fits snugly on my hands, leaving little on my fingertips.
