These are nice containers. However, some design flaws are found. When I opened the package I found that the bamboo lids were quite unfinished. The bamboo strips fell apart. This is problematic as the controls can be dangerous. The risk of splinters cannot be ruled out. Lids continue to cause problems in terms of functionality. For one thing, they're too fat. They take up almost a quarter of the bin, so the actual storage space is less than you might think. Another problem is the high probability that the lid will stick to the jar. It seems that the condensate from the magic in the fridge creates an extra stickiness between the lid and the jar. About nine times out of ten your lid will have a very hard time removing the lid with repeated force to actually separate the lid from the jar. I wish they were better for home use.
