These were the first gaiters I ever bought for my dog, they are supposed to be good for snow and keep their paws dry. They work well but the durability I would say is good for about a season. This year I noticed that the velcro has worn out and is not keeping my dog's paws dry. I also added socks that help a bit with the wet part. I would recommend these boots for hot ground or hard grass. They worked fine the first winter, but this winter I'm trying a different brand. This time they don't keep his paws dry. For such a price, one season is enough. I travel across the country and am exposed to all kinds of weather. I gave season 1 4 stars and season 2 only 3 stars. They are not waterproof as advertised. The price was pretty decent considering what others charge.
