Review on Sony SRF59SILVER Walkman Stereo Radio by Dustin Woodrow

I work in Boston and like to listen to Sox afternoon games. Buildings have interfered with FM reception on my previous radios, but not on this one - I can listen at work or during a mile-long walk to the pier to catch a commuter boat without losing signal. The on/off button stays in place - don't worry, it turns on when it's in my pocket when not in use. The tuning knob doesn't dangle like other radios - no matter what station I choose, the tuning knob stays on. Even if the commute is far from land - I always lost the signal with my previous radios - but not with this one. Of course, we're not too far off the ground, but other walkie-talkies have always lost signal. This Sony picks up local stations very quickly and clearly. I donated headphones and am using my Bose headphones - great sound and clarity. I've only tried FM stations so far so can't speak with AM skills, but there is a powerful AM station in Boston and I'm sure it will sound as clear as FM stations. This is a great little gem for commuting, jogging, strolling, seniors, summer days at the beach, or your kids' summer camp. Highly recommended!
