These are made of a very comfortable stretch knit. Not shiny and fairly thin, but not see through.The size I received fits beautifully and I look far better than I thought I would. I have even experimented by holding a mirror and bending over in front of a mirror to see if skin can be seen through the fabric in the rear. I did not see any which is a miracle.I am not sure the world is ready to see me in these so I will probably wear them as long underwear, pajama bottoms, or just around the house. They are very, very comfortable and I am happy to have them.
