Berry Beautiful Hair

Excellent cranberry seed oil. The 2 ounce bottle is big enough to last a while. beautiful glass pipette inside. The pipette will fall apart if the cap is overtightened; This is probably intentional for the cleanup. It's easy to put back together, just don't over-tighten the cap. I bought this to mix a few drops into my sulfate free shampoo and now I have lighter, fluffier curls. The oil smells like cranberries, although you never notice it when you mix it with shampoo. I tried it directly on my face as it is recommended for skincare, it makes the skin oily and you will smell like cranberries. I tried it directly on my hair after showering, my hair got greasy. It's oil, so it should be obvious. I have found this to be a useful product and you only need to mix a few drops of this into your shampoo every shower as a hair and scalp supplement. I suffer from dry scalp to the point where I get itchy bumps on my scalp so I've been using Head and Shoulders shampoo for years which works well but is full of harsh chemical sulfates like most shampoos that are used used to wash hair. I switched to a sulfate free shampoo and conditioner and with this product I no longer had a dry scalp at all. Some major manufacturers of quality shampoos, like Redken, already include cranberry seed oil in their products; This bottle of Cranberry Seed Oil is a great way to get the oil's benefits without having to switch from your current shampoo and conditioner brand. PS if you are unfamiliar with sulfates, google it. Sulfates are the active ingredients in floor cleaners and degreasers, so they shouldn't come into contact with your hair. Sulfates are very inexpensive industrial detergents so they have been used in most shampoos on store shelves for many decades as they lower the cost of shampoo and most people buy shampoo by price. Read the ingredients in your shampoo, it will likely contain two types of sulfates, then google the sulfates. A good sulphate free shampoo lathers great and you don't have to use too much shampoo at once so the money you spend is what you are spending now and your hair will be a lot healthier. Don't get confused by all the different brands; Any shampoo without sulfates is better than any shampoo with sulfates.
