The syntax of this API is very easy to understand, I was able to build some basic applications in under an hour using it! It's quite powerful but not too complex for me as a beginner developer. You can also use other frameworks like Laravel or Angular if needed and still be compatible without any issues. At least one example should come along side each tutorial so developers don't need experience from another framework before diving into learning how things work here. In my first application there were no examples provided (for whatever reason) which made setting up the project difficult at times since i had little knowledge about javascript itself. Also, because its built-in package manager has become outdated over time and requires manual updating when new versions are released - something more advanced languages offer out of the box. As mentioned above though, having those packages available makes the transition much easier than trying.
