This would be a five star rating if it wasn't for the buckle. Simply put, the buckle is a little tricky to use. When putting on the belt it is necessary to pass the end of the belt through the buckle and a narrow slit. It takes some time to get used to. When removing or releasing the strap, there is a small lever at the bottom of the buckle that must be depressed to release the ratchet. It's best to squeeze the strap on either side of the buckle to release the tension on the ratchet before flipping the lever or you're going to have a really hard time. Aside from the buckle, I love the style of the belt and how adjustable it is. Updated 11/19/2018. I cannot recommend this belt more. The leather does not consist of a solid strap, but of two thin straps sewn together, between which there is a thin hollow. Because every leather strap is thin, the teeth holding the buckle at the end of the strap broke through the leather and the buckle came loose. I cut off the end of the belt and reattached the buckle, but the problem repeated itself - twice. I am reducing my rating to two stars.
