So far, so good. My latest headphones and mics had horrible static build up.
My last headphone mic had terrible interference that I couldn't handle, but my listeners could hear. I use them for remote connections, so good headphones and a microphone are essential. I just received them today and asked a colleague if my mic sounded better than my other set. She says yes, so I'm happy for now. Since they can also be used for sports I assume they will last a long time for regular phone and/or PC conversations.
