This is just a preview. Haven't used it in the rain yet but I have no reason to believe it won't work. This is on my Extended Torso version of the Granite Gear Crown2 60. I like the small size and weight of the case. It comes with a storage bag so it just rolls up on itself and very easy. It covers my backpack well. It has two straps that allow it to be attached to a backpack. They fit between your back and backpack. The horizontal strap is fine, but the vertical strap is not long enough. The buckle is located directly on the buttocks of the hip belt. I felt it pressing on me. However, I don't think a strap is necessary as the case has an elastic band around it. Pros: Fits Crown2 60 Small and light Easy to unclip Cons: Vertical strap is not long enough for my backpack When using a vertical strap, the buckle pushes into the thigh. Price I think it's a good buy and nice to have just in case. It doesn't take up much space and is lightweight. It's better to have a few ounces of coating weight than pounds of soaked water.
