Smith Vs Maui Jim Boys

Second polarized sunglasses from Smith, first pair with ChromaPop. I am also a Maui Jim lens enthusiast and have had eight pairs of lenses over the years. Product shipped as advertised. I think others get confused by the many options and lens descriptions and mistakenly order, thinking that all lenses are the same on different mounts. I love these lenses. They are more than comparable, if not better than Maui Jim's. ChromaPop lives up to the ad. Things appear clearer and clearer, but don't expect dramatic effects. This should be taken into account, especially if the price difference is nominal. The frames are beautifully designed and constructed and are lightweight. They look good but feel cheap which makes the higher prices a little suspicious but a fair retail price. The lens is worth it. They wash up easier than Maui Jims. The lenses are good in bright daylight and can be worn all day. The brown lens is slightly darker than Maui Jim's brown, but lighter. Chroma Pop has more color contrast. Runaway 2 fits my small head well. Small to medium is a good size description. Good coverage and side light blocking. Overall I am very enthusiastic about this brand and would buy a third pair.
